Taking over the Boots in-house design studio
In 2004 the in-house design team at Boots the Chemists was outsourced to my design firm, Jupiter Design. I took on 30 people from their head office and employed them alongside my existing staff in new offices, a beautiful listed Manor House.
We were up and running on day one, handing all of their in-store communications, catalogues, point of sale and packaging artworking, with the brief to look after design and language development and implementation across this world-renowned firm’s operations.
This has been the single most important business project in my entire career, and the experience and knowledge it has given me is proving invaluable in so many ways as I consult with my new clients.
